October is Breast Cancer awareness month. Remember to dawn pink to support the fight against breast cancer. Show your support for your loved ones touched by this terrible disease, whether it be your wife, mother, grandma, daughter, friend, or another family member. Please remember to donate to this worthy cause and help fight breast cancer. You love and support are needed, not only in the fight against it, but for those that unfortunately suffer from it! No matter now you show it, a pink ribbon, a shirt, a bumper sticker, or a button, just be sure to show your support of the fight against breast cancer. One day it may save someone you love. And guaranteed, it will save someone that is very important to someone.

In that regard, be sure to be checked. Go ahead and touch those breasts or have them touched for you. The life you save may be your own. Life is sometimes too short, there is no need to make it shorter than it needs to be.

I have been searching to find funny Halloween t-shirts to feature. I have found a great selection from independent designers that pour their hard work into them. We decided it was time to send out a newsletter. We would first of all like to thank those who have signed up for it and also thank you for all those who are our loyal customers!

1. Father’s Day is coming this Sunday June 17th

Fathers day is right around the corner. It’s probably too late to get our great t-shirts in time for Father’s Day. But in case you are short on time and still can’t find anything great for Dad, we have a few easy steps to save the day (this is great for procrastinators or those still looking for the perfect gift)

1. Find a shirt at SpeakUpDesigns that Dad would love
2. Click on View Larger
3. Print the Page
4. Order your shirt or gift
5. Find a great card and place printed image inside
6. Give Card to Dad
7. Make Dad happy
8. Give Dad the shirt in a few days once it arrives

We have lots of great hot rod shirts, teacher, funny, tattoo, and other great shirts for dad or even for ourself.  Here are a few to get your attention.

2. Coupons - We have them!

Everyone loves to save money. I know I do. We have two great coupons for you that are good until June 17th. Save $3 off of $10 or save $10 off of $40. The coupons can be re-used over and over until they expire, so feel free to forward this newsletter to friends, family, co-workers, and anyone who would love to save money on our great shirts. Coupon codes are located on the right on the website. With the $3 off $10 coupons, we have t-shirts for less than $11.

3. Summer T-Shirt Giveaway

We are once again giving away a free t-shirt. All you have to do is sign up for our newsletter, which if you are receiving this, you already have. But feel free to let those friends and family know about it so they can enter to. Word of mouth is our best advertising. We have notified the Spring contest winner and hope to be able to share a photo of them wearing our great shirts.  You can enter the contest here at our contest page.

4. Adding New Products

We are adding new products to the store that include long sleeve dark shirts, more short sleeve dark colors, dark t-shirts for kids, new women’s plus sizes, and even maternity wear for certain designs. If you see a design you want on one of these products and it isn’t shown, e-mail us and we will get it on the item you desire. We are also rolling out several new sections in the coming weeks, including dogs, geeks, Snoopy, Star Trek, and a Bride section.

5. Can’t Find What You Need?

It’s impossible to carry everything the world might want. We have a answer to that problem. Our excellent partner CafePress has millions of designs on over 30 million products. If we don’t have it, they will. You can use our portal at www.speakupdesigns.com/cafepress to get there. Please bookmark that page before clicking the link, as we will get credit for any sales we direct, which will help us continue to bring you great new designs. You can even use our coupons so be sure to use the portal!

Depot Town Cruise Nights is a great place to see muscle cars, classic cars, and hot rods. East Cross Street in Depot Town is closed every Thursday night and everything from a Chevrolet Corvette, Camaro, and a Bel Air to a Ford Mustang and Thunderbird to a Dodge Charger and Challenger to a Studebaker, Hudson, Pontiac, Cadillac, and Oldsmobile can be found lining both sides of the street. Weather permitting of course!

Depot Town Cruise Nights is a great place in Ypsilanti to take the whole family and it’s free fun for everyone! Great for those with a classic car or just love seeing them. Listen to the DJ play music from the 50’s and 60’s while the kids have fun in the hoola hoop contest.

With everything from great beer and food, ice cream and candy, it is a great night for adults and kids. Be sure to bring a camera and get some great photos of the hot rods. Portell Imagery and SpeakUpDesigns will be there as well, so be sure to look for us in Depot Town. You can see some of out great Depot Town t-shirts below with more coming soon.
